We are Dr. Nic and Nat. ND, 
twin sisters , naturopathic doctors and menopause society certified practitioners with a passion 
for helping women reach their true potential.

We have been in clinical practice for over 12 years and have recognized the gap in care that women receive 
as they transition into menopause and how much 
this can affect their lives.

We are the owners of Durham Natural Health Centre 
a multidisciplinary clinic in Ajax, Ontario which 
we have proudly owned for over 11 years and we see patients virtually all over the province. 
We have a clinical focus in women’s health and are both

to support women as they transition into menopause.

 What if I’m through Menopause, is this still helpful for me?
First, congrats on navigating this rite of passage. And second, here is how your Perimenopause Playbook can benefit you post-menopause. Although acute symptom management may not be your priority, the dietary, exercise, mindset & habits you’ll learn are highly valuable in this phase of life. But not just now, along with what you learn in ‘loving your future self’, this information is essential for mental and physical health now AND long term cognitive health, bone and cardiovascular health. 
How do I know I’m in Perimenopause?
While genetics result in a range of ages in which we reach menopause, if you’re between the ages of 35 - 45 your body is beginning to prepare for this transition. You may be noticing some subtle symptoms that you’ve simply chalked up to PMS or period problems when, in fact, your body has begun its hormone shifts.

Yes, there are blood tests that can help us see what the hormones are doing. And your symptom picture provides us a great deal of information, so much so that the blood tests don’t always add valuable insight.

How do I access HRT (hormone replacement therapy)?
Hormone Replacement Therapy can be accessed through your medical practitioner within your jurisdiction (your province/state).
Ontario Residents: If your medical provider does not offer HRT, we are happy to support you. You can Book an Initial Visit HERE or access further guidance HERE to determine the option that’s right for you.
